Pullman National Historical Park, IL
Pullman National Historical Park is a historic district located in Chicago, Illinois, which in the 19th century was the first model, planned industrial community. Designated in 2015, Pullman National Historical Park is the first National Park Service unit in Chicago. Preserving the story of one of the first planned industrial communities in the United States, the park includes many historic buildings located in what is now the Pullman neighborhood of Chicago. In this growing neighborhood, diverse people and stories intertwined. All were seeking opportunity. Some succeeded. Others were limited—by race, gender, or economic status. Their stories came together in Pullman, a planned industrial community famed for its urban design and architecture. Anderson Design Group poster artists hand-rendered this original illustration in the fashion of vintage poster art and classic travel art from the 20th Century. This retro design and original National Park art is available as a poster, print, canvas, mini canvas, metal sign, notecard, or postcard.
